The Marchetti Group's AXQUA is their latest Water-Jet system, used for cutting marble and other stone.  AXQUA is also useful for different materials besides stone. The tub is completely made of stainless steel for more durability. We use high precision components for precision cuts. The machine is equipped with high pressure Pump model KMT (made in the USA ).

    The machine is used for carrying out flat cuts via the use of a special high pressure pump, which ejects a stream of water mixed with an abrasive. This jet is capable of perforating different thicknesses of different materials such as; marble, granite, stone, metal, plastic, paper, wood, glass, ceramics, etc. and with extreme precision.

      The machine carries out movements on two axis at the same time, thus making the cut in one single run. The movement systems of the machine are controlled by an industrial PC which interfaces with CNC system.  It's made of a self supporting metal framework. The cutting unit is mounted on a vertical slide (Z) which runs on a bridge and this in turns moves above the work surface. The machine moves on tempered steel guides with slides containing high precision recirculating ball screws, which are protected from water and dust by guards and concertina sleeves to ensure impermeability from any foreign bodies. The work surface is composed of interchangeable grills which are incorporated in the water container, which is inserted inside the frame of the machine. The safety guards of the machine are stainless steel.
